Horizontal Zont-bracing

Fab-Form Industries Zont-bracing is the first horizontal bracing system specifically designed for the ICF industry. 

The system consists of three elements:

• Zont-brackets screw attached to the ICF block which hold the walers and strongbacks in position
• Site available 2 x 4 walers and strongbacks to flatten the wall horizontally and vertically
• Zuckle-turnbuckles for aligning strongbacks

Advantages

• Only 7% the weight of conventional ICF braces
• Walers flatten the wall horizontally, strongbacks flatten vertically
• Easier support for door and window bucks
• Lightweight product requires minimal recycling
• Continue layers of Zont-walers up the wall, no restriction on height
