Construction-industry editors had the chance to tour Liebherr America's Newport News, Va., mining truck operations, hear from product experts on features of recently introduced models and get some hands-on time with the machines at the company's extensive demo area.
The company is seeking customer and dealer feedback on its new TA 230 articulated dump truck prior to its launch in in 2015. The TA 230 ADT is in production in Europe, and Liebherr says it will use North American feedback to engineer specific features to satisfy the needs of the North American market.
