Suffolk Construction Lands $1B Contract to Build MA Wynn Resort

It's estimated the $1.7 billion resort project will generate 4,000 union construction jobs as well as 4,000 permanent jobs when the resort opens

Suffolk Construction Co. has landed a $1 billion contract to build the Wynn Resort casino in Everett, Mass. It is one of the state's largest private construction contracts ever awarded.

It's estimated the $1.7 billion resort project will generate 4,000 union construction jobs as well as 4,000 permanent jobs when the resort opens.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
