Twiceme Technology has expanded its partnership with Guardian to integrate Twiceme’s digital safety technology into 10 of Guardian’s anchor-mounted self-retracting lifelines. The integration marks a first for the fall protection industry and builds on Twiceme’s existing use in Guardian harnesses. The Twiceme-enabled lifelines are expected to be available in spring 2026.
Self-retracting lifelines are a key component of personal fall arrest systems on construction sites, serving as the connecting device between the worker’s harness and an anchor point. Designed to allow controlled movement, SRLs lock quickly in the event of a fall to reduce the risk of serious injury when working at heights.
With Twiceme integrated into Guardian SRLs, organizations can digitally access equipment inspection records, work documentation and worker certification status through Twiceme’s safety management platform. The technology also provides medical identification information intended to assist first responders during rescue situations.
The first Guardian SRL models to include Twiceme range from 16 to 65 feet and include Halo, Diablo, Velocity and CR3 product lines, covering standard, leading-edge and rescue and retrieval applications.
