ECAM has released new AI-powered features within its surveillance platform, adding tools designed to support early threat detection and faster response across sectors such as retail, construction, manufacturing, logistics, automotive and residential communities.

One of the major additions is a retail-focused theft detection tool that uses behavior recognition and multi-camera tracking to identify suspicious actions like concealment, loitering, and scan avoidance. The system can work with existing camera infrastructure, sending real-time alerts and generating time-stamped video clips to support investigations.

ECAM also introduced AI-driven guard alerts that integrate with human security teams. When the system detects activity such as perimeter breaches or intrusions, guards receive immediate notifications on their devices. The tool offers customizable detection rules, live video access and incident tracking to help improve situational awareness.

The company’s new System Takeover Program allows businesses to convert their current surveillance setups into an ECAM-monitored system without replacing cameras. The program provides access to real-time analytics, 24/7 monitoring, and a centralized incident portal, aiming to offer a more responsive security approach with minimal disruption.
