I’ve been so tired of work boots that just kept letting me down, so recently I was in the market for a new pair. I’ve seen a bunch of guys wearing BRUNTs, and I kept seeing them all over social media. It seemed like they might just be all hype, but since they have a risk-free trial, I thought I might as well give them a shot.
We all know what we look for in a work boot: durability, support, and comfort that lasts all day. But finding a boot that checks all the boxes can be tough. Especially for us guys in construction, our boots take a beating.
Let me tell you, I've worn a lot of work boots in my time. Some started out great but fell apart after a few weeks. Others were tanks but felt like wearing bricks on my feet. And forget about some "waterproof" boots, a surprise rain shower could turn your socks into sponges. I’m tired of shelling out my hard-earned money for a boot that will just let me down.

Here's what impressed me most
- Unbelievable Comfort: Right out of the box, these boots felt amazing. No break-in period, just all-day comfort, even after hours on my feet. My legs and feet felt great at the end of a long shift, a welcome change from some of the heavy boots I've worn.
- Built to Last: The Brunt Marin feels seriously tough. The build is super high quality, and the materials seem like they can handle whatever I throw at them. I'm not worried about these boots crapping out on me after a few weeks.
- Truly Waterproof: Finally, a work boot that is actually waterproof. I've sloshed through puddles, walked through heavy morning dew, and my feet have stayed completely dry. No more soggy socks, even on messy jobs.
- Lightweight: Most boots that classify themselves as durable are heavy as could be, but these are a lot lighter than I was expecting. Plus, the safety composite toe is lighter than steel so it doesn’t weigh me down, but keeps me protected.
- Value: A bunch of the other top brands I’ve tried come in at $200-$300. Compared to the $164.99 of the Marin, it’s just so much more affordable for me to go with BRUNT.
A minor downside
Since BRUNT is a newer brand, they aren't available in a ton of stores yet. They’re in a bunch of boot stores, but there weren’t any around me. That means I couldn't try them on in person before I ordered. Luckily, their sizing guide was spot-on, but it would have been nice to get the perfect fit from the start. But, it looks like they’re adding stores rapidly, so there’s a good chance they’ve got one near you.

Overall, the BRUNT Marin is a game-changer for me
They're the most comfortable work boots I've ever worn, and they seem built to withstand the daily grind of construction work. If you're looking for a top-notch boot delivered straight to your door, the Brunt Marin is absolutely worth checking out.
