MAXAM Tire has released a new 45/65R45 size of its MS501 MineXtra tire, designed for L5 wheel loaders and heavy-duty mining equipment.
Engineered for harsh mining and quarry environments, the MS501 features an extra-deep, open L5 tread with staggered blocks for improved traction and wear resistance. A reinforced bead, shoulder and sidewall increase cut protection, while the wide footprint enhances stability and comfort.
The tire’s cut- and tear-resistant compound is designed to reduce downtime and lower operating costs for off-the-road applications.
Matt Fagan, Director of R&D at MAXAM Tire North America, said the new size reinforces the company’s commitment to developing durable tire solutions for demanding mining operations.
