LBX Company has introduced its new 145 X4S hydraulic excavator, designed to enhance efficiency and productivity through advanced technology and proven engineering. The 145 X4S is available with optional advanced technology features, including Digital Level, Height and Depth Alarm, and Payload. It also comes Precision Grade-ready, making it easier to install Precision Grade kits and reducing the time and effort required to install IMU sensors for necessary Machine Guidance and Control.
At the core of the 145 X4S is an electronically controlled hydraulic pump system paired with the industry-recognized SSC (Spool Stroke Control) system. This innovative combination optimizes machine performance and control. The 145 X4S also features Customizable Hydraulic Flow Balance, enabling operators to adjust flow to their preference while preventing arm drift during swing with heavy attachments. The 145 X4S is powered by the Isuzu AR-4JJ1X Final Tier 4 engine, which is notable for its exceptional fuel efficiency. A key feature of this engine is its ability to achieve industry-leading fuel consumption without a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), thereby eliminating the need for associated maintenance and replacements. Operators can select from four distinct power modes — SP, Power, Eco, and Lift — to match power output and precision to each job’s needs, maximizing efficiency and reducing operating costs. Engineered for extended operation with minimal downtime, the 145 X4S features a long 500-hour service interval for its fuel filter. Additionally, the DEF tank has a consumption rate of only 2–3% compared to diesel, allowing for longer operational periods between refills. All service points are conveniently accessible from ground level for ease of maintenance.
The operator's cab is equipped with a high-definition, 10-inch LCD monitor featuring an anti-glare coating for optimal visibility in various lighting conditions. The user-friendly interface can be customized to display critical information, including hydraulic work tool names, system alerts, SCR auto regeneration status, and in-cab pressure controls. The monitor also supports WAVES (Wide Angle Visual Enhancement System), which provides a comprehensive 230-degree view around the machine.
